2018 Spring Round Up

Well, it's almost half way through the year already and, at last, the weather has started to warm up (sporadically). Spring has brought in a new flood of bookings for the Grey’s team as they polish, scrub and clean the fleet in the lengthening days.

With the new bookings and clients come new vehicles and the first to arrive this year is a bit of a mammoth. Keep an eye out for a full review on the new G17 as we take to the road and show her off in all her glorious luxury. G17’s arrival will make the fleet 14 strong with more arrivals due later this year.

Talking of new arrivals, we are also excited to say hello to two new drivers and an Operations Manager as the company goes from strength to strength. Drivers Carl Belton and Les Chapman continue to familiarise themselves with the Grey’s fleet and Ben takes the seat in Operations to keep things on track and running smoothly. He joins us from Epsom Coaches, bringing 7 years of transport experience into the role.

For April's Fool Day, we joked about the carpeting of the workshop to make it a more comfortable working environment. Here's the picture we released, leaving some rival operators asking questions about our Health and Safety policies! Of course, the hi-vis slippers had everything covered!

With all that happening in Ely, an exciting trip was also made to the U.S. for Richard and Belinda to attend the Travel Agent Forum where Grey's proudly had a presence.

Richard says,

“With a lot of work coming from abroad, it's great to have a personal presence and deal directly with the client. Of course, sowing fresh seeds is always important too!”

So roll on June where a truly exciting summer starts in full. We'll have important news on winning some prestigious awards, another luxury vehicle for the fleet and we give an old girl a new home!
