All Grey’s of Ely Coaches Meet or Exceed the LEZ Requirements
Lowering our carbon footprint
In order to reduce pollution in London, all coaches operating in the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ), which is the area inside the M25, must meet regulations governing particle exhaust emissions set by Transport for London (TfL).
At Grey’s of Ely, we have a continual fleet regeneration programme and, as a result, we purchase the most environmentally friendly vehicles, therefore helping to reduce our Emissions and Carbon Footprint.
All of our vehicles have a minimum of Euro IV engines and some are Euro VI. The coaches also have a comprehensive Vehicle Tracking System that allows us to monitor any unnecessary idling, therefore further helping to reduce our Carbon footprint.
