New Cheetah 2 Midi Coach Factory Visit

Having placed our order for our new 33-seat Cheetah 2, we decided it would be nice to visit the manufacturer, Plaxton Ltd, at the factory in Scarborough to see the vehicle on the production line.

We arrived mid morning and where greeted by Mark Ballam, new coach sales manager. We had a tour around the factory to see how the vehicles start off as basic chassis as supplied by Mercedes Benz.

As we walked along the production lines you could see the structure of the vehicle forming into the final product.

After which the vehicle is sent for paint and is then fitted out with the customers choice of seats and internal fixtures and fittings.

It was an enjoyable day out and gave us a good opportunity to view parts of the coach which you would never normally see.
