New Plaxton Panther 2 in-build

Having ordered our new vehicle for delivery later in 2011, we thought we ought to take time out to visit the Plaxton factory at Scarborough and see the build process in place.

Taking time away from the office, just after Christmas, we traveled up to Plaxton's main manufacturing plant at Scarborough. We met with Mark Ballam, New Coach build manager, who took us on a tour of the factory showing us the build process from chassis through to completed Coach. The striking new design of the Panther 2 is obvious even when the vehicle only has the bare metal framework. Our new coach will be finished in late April and we will let you know all about it once it arrives.
